Just because it's winter doesn’t mean that you can’t continue to explore this stunning region of Southern Ontario. Listed below are what we consider to be the top ten things you need to do this winter in Niagara Falls, from wine tours to adventures Behind the Falls.

  1. View the Frozen Falls: Bundle up and head to various vantage points like Queen Victoria Park or Table Rock Centre to see the partially frozen Niagara Falls. The mist from the falls often creates beautiful ice formations along the cliffs and surrounding area, creating a stunning winter wonderland.
  2. Journey Behind the Falls: Experience the power of the falls from behind the cascading water at Journey Behind the Falls attraction. Take an elevator down to the base of the falls and explore tunnels that lead to viewing platforms situated directly beside the roaring cascade. The experience offers a unique perspective and the chance to feel the thunderous power of the falls up close.
  3. Ice Skating at Niagara Falls: Enjoy outdoor ice skating at the Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery's outdoor skating rink. Located in nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake, this picturesque setting offers the perfect opportunity to glide across the ice surrounded by vineyards and scenic views.
  4. Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory: Step into a tropical paradise at the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory. Walk through tropical gardens filled with exotic plants and thousands of free-flying butterflies from around the world. It's a warm and peaceful escape from the winter chill.

The Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort features a wide range of gaming options, including slots, table games and poker. Enjoy live entertainment, fine dining and stunning views of the falls from the resort's observation deck.
  6. Niagara SkyWheel: Take a ride on the Niagara SkyWheel, a 175-foot tall Ferris wheel located on Clifton Hill. Enclosed and heated gondolas provide a comfortable way to enjoy panoramic views of Niagara Falls, especially enchanting when the falls are illuminated at night.
  7. Wine Tasting Tours: Explore Niagara's wine country on guided tours that visit renowned wineries such as Inniskillin, Jackson-Triggs, Wayne Gretzky WInery and Peller Estates. Learn about the region's winemaking heritage and sample a variety of wines, including the famous ice wine, made from grapes harvested in the winter months.
  8. Indoor Water Parks: Escape the cold and enjoy family-friendly fun at one of Niagara's indoor water parks. Fallsview Indoor Waterpark features thrilling slides, a wave pool and a giant tipping bucket. Great Wolf Lodge offers a similar experience with slides, pools and interactive water play areas.

Nasia was our driver this afternoon. First and most importantly, she is a safe, conscientious driver (from our home to a hotel near airport). Nasia was on time for pick up; she was courteous and very friendly, chatting with us along the way. We completely enjoyed her and our trip into the airport area. We have used this service before and highly recommend it for safe and respectful service, on time and thorough communication during the arranging and before the pick up providing the drivers name, car being driven etc, value for cost, the cars used, and their drivers. Thank you Nasia.

I am very impressed with this company. Their communication when booking was prompt. They provided me with a written invoice, upon booking, with the quoted price. In looking around for a car service for this trip, other services did not do this. On the day of our trip home from the airport, our plane was delayed but upon arrival at the airport, there was a text from our driver, Wahid, letting us know he was waiting for us. At baggage claim, we had to wait an excessive amount of time before we could grab our bags. Wahid was very understanding and did not appear to be upset at the longer wait time for him. The vehicle we drove home in was immaculately clean and the drive home pleasant. I will certainly use this service again and highly recommend you consider using them as well.
